Rebecca Schaeffer was laid to rest on July 23, 1989 at the AHAVAI SHOLOM CEMETERY in Portland, Oregon.
In memory of a life so beautifully lived and a gentle heart so deeply loved. Rest in peace Rebecca.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for ever... Psalm 23
If tomorrow I suddenly discover I had wings I'd take you with me and we could fly around.

I think I used to be only selfish. I cared to try but never tried to care, until one very big day.
I woke up to birds, like usual. I woke up to water, like usual. I woke up to time, like usual.
Only the difference was, I smiled... Rebecca Schaeffer
We all have our homes; Our places of pain. Our temples and roads. Our mothers and fathers.
Times always change, and getting back is not so easy. But we all have our home. Get There. As soon as you can.
